MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 11/24/11 -- Maya Gold & Silver Inc. ('Maya' or the'Corporation) (TSX VENTURE: MYA) report today that following the regulatory investigation conducted by the Ministere de l'Energie, des Mines, de l'Eau et de l'Environnement du Maroc (Moroccan Mining Authorities) the renewal of the five permits covering the Amizmiz project has been approved. Permits PE183200, PE18201, PE183202 and PE183203 are valid until May 16, 2015 and Permit PEI83208 (Azegour Mine) is valid until July 16, 2015.
