VANCOUVER, May 25, 2012 - PMI Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:PMV) (FRANKFURT:PN3N) (ASX:PVM) ("the Company") is pleased to announce that it has filed on SEDAR the NI 43-101 compliant technical report on the Obotan Project outlining the updated mineral resource estimate.

This report relates to PMI's announcement titled "PMI set to complete Feasibility Study on Obotan Gold Project After Confirming Resource Inventory", which was announced on April 11, 2012.
