Adroit Resources Inc. Invited to Present Italian Antimony Project to European Commission-Adroit Preparing a Video on Italy

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/10/12 -- Adroit Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ADT) (BERIN: A7V) (FRANKFURT: A7V) -

The European Union (EU) is currently 100% dependent on imports of antimony, a metal that the EU has identified as one of 14 'critical' materials for EU manufacturing.

Adroit was recently (22nd March) invited to meet with the European Commission's special adviser on raw materials, Mr. Mattia Pellegrini. The Commission was interested to learn that Italy has the potential to be the world's second-largest producer of antimony after China, based on current global production.

The European Commission's Vice President for Enterprise and Industry, Antonio Tajani, said: "We need to join forces to tap Europe's enormous own potential of raw materials. Intensified action is required to make Europe the world leader in the capabilities related to exploration, extraction, processing, recycling and substitution, such innovation is decisive for Europe's competitiveness."

Commissioner Tajani recently met with new European Investment Bank President Mr. Werner Hoyer (29 March). The discussions focused on the role of the bank in supporting the real economy. In particular, they discussed the need to support investments for greater access to raw materials.

Adroit President and CEO Graeme Rowland stated: "The EU has recognized the importance of this strategic metal (antimony), and is doing everything within its powers to meet the EU's need for antimony. We were very pleased with the genuine interest in Italy's potential and welcomed the Commission's new measures."

World production is currently dominated by China. The US Geological Survey, recently highlighted that Lengshuijiang which accounts for 60% of global production has only 5 years of mining life left, so we expect that without large discoveries there will be further supply constraints, this is reflected in China's decision to introduce export restrictions and import subsidies."

Adroit was joined by a video crew in Italy to produce a 10 minute film. The crew visited Adroit's different properties, interviewed members of the Adroit team, as well as interviewing Leonardo Marras, the President of Grosseto Province, Gabriele Berni, the alderman of Siena Province with responsibility for mining. Also other key experts from the Tuscan Region were involved. The politicians are very proud of the area's mining history, Grosseto was a world significant producer of antimony, up until the early 90s. When China quadrupled production in the 80s and 90s it led to a depression in antimony prices and the closing of Italy's production. This was despite an increase in world demand. Grosseto Province has suffered from de-industrialization, resulting in high levels of unemployment. All of those interviewed expressed their support on the recommencement of metal mining, with a particular focus on antimony.

Adroit Resources Inc. is a mineral exploration company that is currently exploring for antimony, gold and silver in Central Italy and, precious and base metals in the Timmins South/Shining Tree/Temagami/Cobalt and Bancroft areas of Ontario, Canada. The Company currently has 135,295,191 shares issued and outstanding.
